This study analyzes approaches to facilitate TC tools in education, focusing on their application in enhancing cognitive and communication competencies through the ELT learning model, utilizing appropriate tools and strategies to optimize the learning environment.
Room B: As technology evolves, Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) emerge as revolutionary tools in education, offering both cognitive and affective engagement through powerful visual stimuli. This presentation explores the use of VR in teaching IELTS speaking skills, highlighting its ability to increase student noticing, enhance schemata, and reduce stress. Drawing on findings from a recent dissertation, it demonstrates how VR transforms traditional pedagogical approaches by creating immersive, realistic interactions that improve communicative competence and confidence. The adoption of such technologies exemplifies profound teacher change, aligning with contemporary digital advancements.
