I’m very excited to be developing and delivering a 6-hour teacher-development workshop, organised by ENBI Agency, titled “Teaching with Purpose: Responsive Practice for All Learners”
The workshop is highly practical and organised around six core themes:
- Understanding learners beyond labels and tests
- Critically evaluating and adapting teaching materials
- Classroom management through task and lesson design
- Behaviour escalation and de-escalation
- Inclusive teaching without taboo topics (including SEN, intersectionality, multicultural and marginalised learners)
- Sustainable responsive practice, including thoughtful use of AI
Across all sessions, the focus is on adjusting both our teaching and our materials to meet learners’ needs, without lowering expectations.
